The Final Job! is the ultimate mission in Grand Theft Auto 2, set in Area 3: Industrial. The protagonist, Claude Speed, embarks on this mission after independently manipulating every gang in the Industrial District. The mission begins automatically after completing all phone missions.
Manipulation and Rivalry
Claude must first complete all jobs for the three gangs in the Industrial District. As he weakens each gang to gain respect from their respective rivals, the gang bosses Hare Krishna’s Sunbeam, Zaibatsu’s Uno Carb, and the Russian Mafia’s Jerkov realize they’ve been manipulated. Consequently, Claude becomes the target of all three gang bosses.
The Confrontation
Each gang boss arrives with their distinctive weapons and vehicles:
- Sunbeam comes in a Karma Bus and is armed with a Flamethrower.
- Uno Carb arrives in a Z-Type and wields a Rocket Launcher.
- Jerkov shows up in a Bulwark and carries an S-Uzi Machine Gun.
These bosses will attack Claude and each other. To complete the mission, all three gang bosses must be eliminated. Once they are dead, the city descends into chaos.
Final Steps
After the chaos ensues, Claude is instructed to return to Jesus Saves before leaving Anywhere for good.
Deaths and Rewards
- Jerkov – Murdered by Claude in self-defense or by the other gang leaders.
- Sunbeam – Murdered by Claude in self-defense or by the other gang leaders.
- Uno Carb – Murdered by Claude in self-defense or by the other gang leaders.
The reward for completing the mission is a +1 Score Multiplier. Additionally, players will be notified that they can return to the Jesus Saves church to complete the game if they have achieved the target score of $5,000,000.
