|---|---|---|---|---|
| Handguns | Pistol, Combat Pistol, AP Pistol, Pistol .50 | 2800 / 2000 / 1400 | 20000 / 10000 / 2000 | 15000 / 3000 / 650 |

| Shotguns | Pump, Sawed-Off, Assault and Bullpup Shotgun | 46 / 32 / 22 | 700 / 590 / 290 | 23 / 18 / 14 |
| Light machine guns | MG, Combat MG | 7500 / 5500 / 4500 | 40000 / 12000 / 5500 | 32000 / 19000 / 7500 |
| Heavy | Minigun | 50000 / 25000 / 10000 | 45000 / 30000 / 15000 | 70000 / 40000 / 20000 |
The Railgun bonus has four challenges instead of three, with targets of 24 / 22 / 20, 24 / 20 / 16, 32 / 26 / 20 and 35 / 31 / 26. They are not available to every player, so you do not need them for the discount.
What each challenge asks for
Handgun targets leave after one hit, while assault rifle targets take three. On shotgun rounds, use the spread to maximise the score. With the Minigun, targets respawn and continuous hits raise your multiplier. Michael can use his bullet-time ability inside the range.
Ammu-Nation discounts
Once you finish every challenge in each weapon category, Ammu-Nation rewards you: all bronze medals give 10% off, all silver give 15% and all gold give 25%. Because the medals belong to one character at a time, you need gold on every challenge with each protagonist to get the permanent discount for all three.

FAQ
Where is the shooting range in GTA 5?
Only two Ammu-Nation stores have one: the store in Cypress Flats and the store in Pillbox Hill.
How much does the shooting range cost?
The entry fee is $14.
Do I have to repeat the challenges with every character?
Yes. Michael, Franklin and Trevor each need their own medals, so the permanent 25% discount requires gold on every challenge with each of them.
Do I need the Railgun challenges?
No. They are not available to all players, so they are not required for the discount.
