The GTA Online Coil Cyclone is a two-door electric hypercar from the Smuggler’s Run update, released on November 14th, 2017 during Cyclone Week. Legendary Motorsport sells it for $1,890,000. It is one of the fastest-accelerating cars in the game, but it pays for that with the weakest traction in the Super class.

Coil Cyclone performance
When fully upgraded, the Cyclone reaches 100 km/h (62 mph) from a standstill in 1.83 seconds. Only the Virtue and the Cyclone II with HSW upgrades beat its wheel-powered acceleration, so it ranks second (third in the Expanded and Enhanced edition). Rocket-powered vehicles such as the Rocket Voltic can still out-accelerate it. The price of that launch is grip: traction is the worst of any Super, so expect to fight the car in corners.
Coil Cyclone II
The Cyclone II is an electric hypercar added with the Expanded and Enhanced edition, and it costs $2,250,000 at Legendary Motorsport. It is based on the Rimac Nevera.
- Stock: 0 to 100 km/h in 1.7 seconds, with a top speed of 119.6 mph (192.2 km/h).
- With the HSW upgrade: 0 to 100 mph (160 km/h) in 2.6 seconds, and a top speed of 142.4 mph (229.2 km/h) reached in twelve seconds.
It handles better than the original, but at high speed it becomes unstable and understeers, particularly with HSW mods. The extreme torque also causes wheel burnout under full acceleration. The HSW badge on the rear shows when the car has been upgraded at Hao’s Special Works.
Design notes
The original Cyclone resembles the Rimac Concept One, with a rear end influenced by the Koenigsegg Agera. Its dashboard and interior are shared with the Dewbauchee Specter and Specter Custom, apart from a steering wheel carrying the Coil emblem. The Cyclone II adds butterfly doors.
