• Information: Miguel is a high-ranking member of the Colombian Cartel and Catalina’s new partner. He aids Catalina after the bank robbery and is frequently seen with her. Miguel is later shot by Catalina after giving Claude a package desired by Donald Love. Asuka Kasen tortures him for information, which helps Claude hinder the Cartel’s activities. Catalina eventually returns and kills Miguel and Asuka.

8-Ball

• Information: 8-Ball is an explosives expert who owns three bomb shops in Liberty City. Convicted of eighty-five charges of illegal firearm possession, he escapes police custody with Claude during a Colombian Cartel attack. He helps Claude get work with the Leone Crime Family and later to destroy a Cartel ship used as a SPANK factory.

Luigi Goterelli

• Information: Luigi Goterelli owns Luigi’s Sex Club 7, a bar in the Red Light District. He is a high-ranking member of the Leone Crime Family and helps 8-Ball get Claude work with him. Luigi is also a pimp for various prostitutes in Portland.

Joey Leone

• Information: Joey Leone is the son of Leone Crime Family Don Salvatore Leone and runs a garage in the Trenton district. Claude, introduced to Joey by Luigi, does various jobs for him, including assassinations and introducing him to Toni Cipriani.

Toni Cipriani

• First/Last Appearance: Cipriani’s Chauffeur – Blow Fish
• Information: Toni Cipriani is a caporegime of the Leone Crime Family. He lives and helps run his mother’s restaurant in Saint Mark’s. Introduced by Joey, Toni has Claude attack the Triads, kill Triad warlords, and destroy a Triad factory. Toni also calls in to Chatterbox FM discussing his mother’s criticisms. He later appears as the protagonist of Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories.

Salvatore Leone

• First/Last Appearance: Salvatore’s Called a Meeting – Sayonara Salvatore
• Information: Salvatore Leone is the Don of the Leone Crime Family. He employs Claude for numerous tasks, but his paranoia leads him to turn on Claude. Maria Latore and Claude escape to join forces with Asuka Kasen and the Yakuza. Claude eventually kills Salvatore on Asuka’s orders to sever his ties with the Leone Family.

Maria Latore

• First/Last Appearance: Chaperone – The Exchange
• Information: Maria Latore, Salvatore Leone’s wife, has Claude look after her, resulting in Claude saving her from a police raid. She lies about dating Claude, causing Salvatore to target him. Maria and Claude join forces with Asuka Kasen. Catalina later kidnaps Maria, who is rescued by Claude.

Asuka Kasen

• First/Last Appearance: Last Requests – Ransom
• Information: Asuka Kasen co-leads the Yakuza with her brother Kenji. She helps Claude and Maria escape from Portland. Asuka employs Claude for various jobs and introduces him to her brother and corrupt LCPD officer Ray Machowski. Asuka is later killed by Catalina.

Kenji Kasen
