Grand Theft Auto 2 (1999) is the last top-down entry in Rockstar's classic series, and its cheats are some of the most generous in the franchise. On both PC and the original PlayStation, GTA 2 cheats are activated by typing a special code as your player name on the new-game / name-entry screen, unlocking all weapons, invincibility, infinite money, every level and more. Frequently asked questions
How do you enter cheats in GTA 2?
GTA 2 cheats are entered as your player name. On PC, type GOURANGA as your name first to enable cheat mode, then return to the name screen, delete it, and type the code you want. On PlayStation, simply type the code as your player name on the new-game screen.
Do GTA 2 cheats work mid-game?
Most are applied through the player-name screen when starting a new game. They are not typed live on a controller like later GTA games.
Are the PlayStation codes different from PC?
