GTA 6 Cheats — What We Know
Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA 6) is set to continue the series tradition of cheat codes —
shortcut combinations that unlock invincibility, weapons, vehicles, wanted level changes and more.
Every mainline GTA game since GTA III has shipped with cheat codes, and nothing suggests GTA VI will be different.
This page is your one-stop reference. Right now it documents everything confirmed or reliably leaked before launch.

How to use cheats
Save first
Activating a cheat code disables trophy and achievement unlocking for the session. Always save before using cheats.
Enter the code
On PS5 / Xbox: input the button sequence directly. On PC: open the in-game cell phone and type the code, or use the keyboard.
Confirmation
A sound effect or on-screen notification confirms the code was accepted. If nothing happens, try entering it again.
Toggle off
Most cheats can be deactivated by entering the same code a second time. Reload your save to fully reset.

Before You Cheat
⚠️ Cheats & Trophies
In GTA 5, activating any cheat code blocked all trophy and achievement progress for that session — reloading a save file restored eligibility. GTA 6 is expected to follow the same rule. Always save before you cheat.
💰 Will there be a money cheat?
GTA 5 had no money cheat in story mode — a first for the series. Whether GTA 6 reintroduces one is unknown. If a money cheat exists, it will be listed here at launch.
📱 Phone vs. Button input
Since GTA 5, Rockstar has supported both button combinations and phone dial codes. GTA 6 is expected to retain this dual system. PC players will likely get keyboard shortcuts in addition.
🎮 GTA Online: No cheats
Cheat codes do not work in GTA Online and never have. They are a story mode feature only. This has been the case since GTA V Online and will almost certainly apply to GTA 6 Online.
