How the Rapid GT Classic drives
The car handles decently for its class. It turns in sharply, and that can lead to oversteer that is hard to manage at high speed. The high-output V8 shifts at about 7500 rpm at full throttle and the rev limiter sits at 8000 rpm. Braking is below average next to the better cars in the class, and crash deformation is acceptable.

Design and inspiration
The Rapid GT Classic is the older, more squared-off generation of the Rapid GT. It is mostly based on the 1972 to 1989 Aston Martin V8, with the side vents and tail lamps recalling the Jensen Interceptor III. The single headlight setup and rear fascia look borrowed from the 1967 to 1968 Ford Mustang Fastback. At the front you get a chrome split grille and four rectangular foglamps that work when the high beams are on.
Paint works in two layers: the primary color covers the body, and the secondary color goes on the bonnet. A trim color is available for the interior, dashboard and seats.
