Rampant Rocket design
The Rampant Rocket is modeled on the Rocket II Trike. It has a long chassis with three wheels, and the front wheel pivots from a C-shaped frame on the left side. A big-block V8 with a supercharger sits in the middle of the bike, with exhaust pipes that merge into a single tip at the rear. The rider sits on a small black seat over the axle, and a saddle bag and license plate sit at the center. The primary color is applied on the upper side and the secondary color on the lower side.
Rampant Rocket performance
You can think of it as a heavier but faster version of the Chimera. Handling is reasonable at lower speeds and it takes corners easily, but at higher speeds it understeers and struggles to weave through traffic. Acceleration and top speed are lacking, beating only the slowest motorcycles such as the Bagger or the Wolfsbane. A 3-speed gearbox sends power to the rear wheels.
- It cannot wheelie, though leaning forward adds a little speed.
- Midair, it does not pitch or roll, so jumps end in a nosedive or at the same angle you left the ground. It is unsuitable for stunt jumps.
- Its length means it gets stuck more often than most bikes, and curbs can fling it up and knock the rider off.
- It struggles over moderately tall obstacles even though the front wheel looks like it has room.
The verdict is that it works best as a novelty, not as a race or escape vehicle. For other models, see the GTA Online vehicles section.
