You’ll be directed to an Eberhard container, which you’ll need to locate and open. A helicopter is your best friend here, allowing you to quickly find the container and shoot the lock from the air.
Once the container is open and the area is clear, you can retrieve the drone. From there, you’ll head to a vantage point with a clear line of sight to the security firm’s headquarters. The plan is to infiltrate their network without ever setting foot inside. You’ll deploy the drone and pilot it towards the building’s roof, where a broken air conditioning vent provides the perfect entry point.
Inside, the mission becomes a tense game of cat and mouse. You must navigate the drone through the office space, avoiding the sightlines of guards and security cameras. Your objective is to scan various computer terminals to locate the one generating the access codes. If a locked door blocks your path, the drone’s shock ability can short out the control panel, granting you passage.
After you successfully locate and begin downloading the access code, the mission takes an explosive turn. To prevent the firm from simply generating a new code, you must destroy their backup server. This is where the drone’s final feature comes into play. You’ll fly it to the server room and detonate it, ensuring the code you’ve just stolen remains valid for your heist.
The Ghost in the Machine: Acquiring the Hacking Device
With the access code sorted, you need a way to deal with the internal systems. For that, you’ll need the best hacking device on the market, and there’s only one place to get it: from a corrupt IAA agent. Your contact has been tracking the agent and provides their location. It’s time for a violent interception.
This mission quickly escalates into a high-speed chase and firefight. The agent is heavily protected, so you’ll need to bring significant firepower to take down their convoy. Once the agent and their bodyguards are eliminated, you can search the target to retrieve the IAA key card. This card is your ticket into their local facility.
After losing any police attention, you’ll proceed to the IAA building. The key card grants you access through the main blast doors, but the welcome inside is anything but warm. Agents are waiting, and you’ll have to fight your way through the facility’s offices and server rooms to find your prize.
The hacking device is located deep within the building, usually on a workbench surrounded by other tech equipment. After clearing out the remaining agents, you can grab the device. All that’s left is to get out of there and deliver the tech to your mansion. The quickest escape route is often through the nearby maintenance tunnels, providing a clear path away from the city streets and any lingering law enforcement.
With both the access code and hacking device secured, the most challenging part of the Kortz Center Heist Equipment prep is complete. You now possess the tools to dismantle the museum’s digital defenses from the inside out, bringing you one giant leap closer to the final score.
