Black Box File setup missions
Jodi says the plane has no registration or crew and has been cleared to land at LSIA. Her contact will pay for any evidence in its black box, so you must force it down first.
- Hacking Device: get a device from a FIB-endorsed cybersecurity firm to reroute the plane
- Sonar Equipment: pick up portable sonar from a salvage crew
- Weaponized Aircraft: get a Tula to bring the plane down over the Alamo Sea
Black Box File finale walkthrough
- Go to the LSIA control tower and hack air traffic control with your iFruit phone. This reroutes the plane toward Blaine County.
- Take the stolen Merryweather Tula and fly to the plane. Two Buzzard Attack Choppers escort it.
- Upload a virus with the SecuroServ Hack app, then shoot out the plane’s engines.
- Fort Zancudo sends two P-996 LAZER jets. They damage your Tula, which explodes near the crash site in the Alamo Sea, so you have to jump out.
- Dive with the sonar equipment to find the wreck and use the explosives from Pavel to open the pilot cabin and take the black box.
- Climb into the Weaponized Dinghy that Pavel’s contact brings, lose the cops through Cassidy Creek and head to the Sonar Collections Dock to deliver the black box.
Elite challenges
The GTA Online Black Box File pays $50,000 more if you complete these three challenges:
