Salvage Yard Robberies
The headline feature is a set of Contract-style missions where Yusuf Amir and Jamal send you after high-profile cars. Each robbery has some initial intel to scope out, preps, new Freemode Tasks and a high-speed finale. You can then sell the stolen car to Yusuf or break it down and sell it for scrap. A target vehicle is recognisable by its flashy customised licence plate, and the targets rotate weekly.
- The Duggan Robbery: infiltrate a private Arena War event at the Maze Bank Arena.
- The Gangbanger Robbery: break King Tiny out of Mission Row Police Station for a tip-off.
- The Cargo Ship Robbery: board the La’oub Princess and recover a car from a container.
- The Podium Robbery: steal a prototype from The Diamond Casino & Resort, added on December 21, 2023 during Festive Surprise 2023.
- The McTony Robbery: take over Tony McTony’s Kosatka submarine.
Tow Truck Service
You can upgrade the Salvage Yard with a Tow Truck, which lets you tow designated delinquent vehicles back to the yard as another source of auto parts.
New Drift Races
Drift Races use specialised drift tuning kits for the new Fathom FR36 (Coupe) and seven previously released vehicles. Instead of just finishing first, you earn Drift Points from criteria such as Precision Drift bonuses and your finishing position, and the most points wins. They are open to LS Car Meet members across seven Los Santos locations, including Legion Square, Vespucci Beach, the Vinewood Hills and Mirror Park. The seven races are:
- Drift Race – A Hill To Die On
- Drift Race – Beach Slap
- Drift Race – Highway Code
- Drift Race – Let Fly
- Drift Race – Smoke and Mirrors
- Drift Race – Textile City Limits
- Drift Race – Wide Berth

Drag Races and the photography challenge
Seven new Drag Races arrived with Drag Races Week on January 25, 2024, again for LS Car Meet members. You change gears manually, avoid traffic and get a limited supply of Nitrous. Examples include Drag Race – Bluff It, Drag Race – Drag It Out and Drag Race – High n Dry. The full list is in All Drag Races.
The Shoot Animals Photography Challenge came with Park Ranger Week on January 4, 2024 and is exclusive to the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S editions. Photograph at least 3 different animals per day at Chiliad Mountain State Wilderness to unlock a special outfit and the Park Ranger for purchase at Warstock Cache & Carry.
