You can play as Bigfoot in GTA Online by eating one particular peyote plant in Grapeseed at the foot of Mount Chiliad, but only between 03:30 and 08:30 while the weather is foggy. The Sasquatch form has super strength and extra health, and it can swim and use weapons.

How to become the Sasquatch
- Wait for a window when the peyote plants are active in GTA Online.
- Be in Grapeseed between 03:30 and 08:30 with foggy weather.
- Go to the plant at the base of Mount Chiliad and eat it.
- You hallucinate, pass out and wake up as the Sasquatch.
Like any peyote plant, the hallucination can be ended at any time, after which you spawn at the nearest hospital and receive 5,000 RP. It also ends if you die or enter water. The plants can be eaten in passive mode, so you cannot hurt anyone and the police ignore you.
When the peyote plants are available
The plants first showed up on October 31, 2019, during the Halloween Surprise 2019 event, and ran until November 14, 2019. They have come back several times, including Halloween 2020, Halloween 2021, Halloween 2022 and Halloween 2025 on October 23, 2025. Check the Halloween events for seasonal returns.
Where the Bigfoot legend comes from
Sasquatch is a long-running myth in the series: players hunted for it in GTA San Andreas, and Rockstar later confirmed it was never in that game. GTA V includes a mission, The Last One, where Franklin chases what turns out to be a man in a costume. In GTA Online, the Beast and Bigfoot also appear as the last two Action Figures.
