Editorial Policy

This page explains how GTA Cheat researches, writes and updates its content. Our readers use our pages to play their games, so accuracy matters more than speed.

Cheat codes

  • Every cheat code is checked against several independent sources before it is published.
  • We always say which platforms and versions a code works on (PC, PlayStation, Xbox, phone cheats, remasters).
  • We mention side effects, for example when a cheat disables achievements and trophies or should not be saved.
  • If a reader reports a code that does not work, we recheck it and update the page.

News

  • News articles are based on official sources first: Rockstar Games, Take-Two Interactive, platform holders and the official websites of partners.
  • We link to our sources at the end of each article.
  • Rumours and leaks are always presented as such and never as confirmed facts.
  • When something changes, such as a date or a price, we update the article.

Guides and walkthroughs

  • Guides explain how to complete a mission or activity step by step, with requirements, rewards and practical tips.
  • Facts such as rewards, unlock conditions and locations are cross-checked with reference sources, which we link.
  • Older guides are reviewed and rewritten when they no longer meet these standards.
