Impaler SZ design and influence
The Impaler SZ is depicted as a four-door sedan with similarities to the Stanier. It is primarily based on the 1994 to 1996 Chevrolet Impala SS, and the interior is shared with cars such as the Stanier and Police Cruiser. The engine appears to be loosely modeled after General Motors LS engines. It is specifically inspired by the 9C1 package for the Caprice. The LSPD Race Car livery is based on a 1996 Chevrolet Caprice 9C1 race car from an anti-street racing volunteer program.
