South Central Leak strand
The South Central Leak strand opens once you have finished Setup: Data Recovery. Imani found a signal of Dr. Dre’s phone in Davis, close to where she and Franklin grew up, and Franklin brings in Vernon of the Families to help. The first investigation, Davis, follows the data trace with Franklin’s Families contact. The second, The Ballas, has you confront the Ballas suspected of stealing Dre’s music. Both lead to the finale.
South Central Leak finale step by step
- Meet Vernon and P at the Davis Mega Mall.
- Follow them to the Rancho Projects in the convoy of Ballas and Families in Baller LEs. If you reach the projects before the convoy, you get 15 seconds to leave the area or the mission fails.
- Take out the Vagos. The Ballas and Families join the shootout and overpower them with your help.
- A North Side Vagos leader runs out to a yellow Buccaneer Custom and speeds away. Chase him and take the lowrider. If you do not catch him, he stops at the Go Loco Railroad yards in Cypress Flats, where reinforcements wait.
- Deliver the lowrider with the copy of the music to the Agency.
South Central Leak rewards and fail conditions
You earn 15 JP, plus cash and RP based on how long you take. You also get a gold record of “Black Privilege”, which the Vagos play live during the mission, in your office. You fail if the lowrider is destroyed or if the team runs out of lives.
