The GTA Online McTony Robbery is a Salvage Yard Robbery from the continuation of The Chop Shop update. The target is a luxury car stored inside tech billionaire Tony McTony’s Kosatka submarine. You sneak aboard in his own Avisa submersible, wreck the sub’s navigation, take the control codes from the head of security and beach the submarine. The McTony Security outfit is the extra reward.

McTony Robbery preps
The preps include Planning Work: Tony’s Submersible, an optional Planning Work: Disrupt Weapons that destroys the security team’s weapon shipments to weaken their arms in the finale, and Task: Security Outfits, where you steal uniforms to fool the sub’s crew for a short time. Like every Salvage Yard Robbery, it can be replayed whenever it shows up on the Planning Computer. A replay swaps in a different target vehicle with a different backstory, and you no longer need to do the scope-out mission again.
McTony Robbery finale walkthrough
The GTA Online McTony Robbery finale starts at Paleto Cove and ends with the car delivered to the Salvage Yard.
- Go to Paleto Cove, dressed as one of McTony’s guards, and take the Avisa submersible with the sonar jamming equipment out to sea.
- Use the sonar to track the Kosatka. Its position flashes on the radar. Enter it through the moon pool underneath.
- In the engine room, destroy the four consoles for the sonar, surfacing, torpedo and diving systems. This alerts the security team.
- Jamal sends a photo of the head of security, who carries the control codes. Find him, take down the heavily armored guard and search the body.
- Go to the bridge and enter the codes to take control. Because the navigation is wrecked, the Kosatka can only move in one direction, so steer straight to the coast and beach it.
- The cops are on their way. Go to the landing pad where the car is stored and use the terminal in the security room to activate the pad.
- Drive out, lose the wanted level and deliver the car to the Salvage Yard.
Tony McTony’s security team
The crew is private security hired by Tony McTony and also serves as the sub’s crew. They carry weapons ranging from pistols and SMGs to shotguns and a Heavy Sniper Mk II, and use unique character models for the goons and the head of security.
