How the Itali GTB Custom drives
The Custom is listed as 0.2 km/h faster than the regular Itali GTB, which makes it marginally quicker than the Banshee 900R. Its reduced weight improves handling. It can understeer a little in corners because of the AWD layout, but an experienced driver sorts that out easily.
Under the skin it uses the same single-cam V8 as the Cheetah, Turismo R and T20, with a 6-speed gearbox in a mid-engine, all-wheel-drive layout, and the same high-revving sound as the Cheetah. The standard Itali GTB already races well thanks to its AWD handling, although its durability is only fair against hard hits from heavier vehicles.
Design and liveries
The Custom has a motorsport bodykit: an extended front splitter, bolt-on extended arches, smaller mirror wings and a lightweight rear with titanium exhaust tips and a smaller diffuser. The design looks based on the McLaren 650S GT3 and 570S GT4/Sprint, and the rear takes cues from the McLaren P1 GTR. Its interior is shared with the Comet Retro Custom and can be modified with a race-style interior and digital display. Two of the liveries are the Tri Color Stripes and the Kreppsohle.
