This GTA 6 Vice City map gathers everything Rockstar has shown of the city, the heart of Leonida and the place where Jason and Lucia’s story pulls them in. Rockstar has not published an official map yet, so every point below is placed by region and marked as approximate. Each pin opens an official screenshot and what it shows. We will replace positions with exact ones from November 19.

Where is Vice City on the GTA 6 map?

Vice City sits on the southeast coast of Leonida, between the wetlands of Grassrivers to the west and the ocean to the east, with the Leonida Keys trailing off to the south. That layout follows Miami’s place in Florida, which is how most outlets describe the city’s inspiration. Use the map below to explore it; drag to move and scroll to zoom.

What Rockstar says about Vice City

Rockstar’s own description calls Vice City the “sun and fun capital of America”, long after the 1980s, and pitches it as a city of glamour, hustle and greed. The official site names four places:

  • Ocean Beach: pastel art deco hotels and white sand.
  • Little Cuba: a neighborhood known for its panaderías.
  • The Tisha-Wocka flea market.
  • VC Port: described as the cruise ship capital of the world.

Other locations come from trailers and previews. Outlets reported the NINE 1 NINE nightclub in the second trailer, an Ammu-Nation in the August Extended Look, and the skyscraper of a company called Megamundo, where Jason and Lucia work a security job that goes wrong, according to Game Informer.

Characters and story

Several of the official characters belong to Vice City. Boobie Ike is described by Rockstar as a Vice City legend who turned street life into real estate, a strip club and a recording studio. He runs Only Raw Records with Dre’Quan Priest, whose label signed the rap duo Real Dimez. The official story setup says Jason and Lucia end up in Vice City when an easy score goes wrong.

What is still unknown about Vice City

  • Exact district boundaries and names beyond the four Rockstar has published.
  • Whether names circulating online, such as Vice Beach or Little Haiti, are real. They come from leaks or fan mapping, not Rockstar.
  • The full list of shops, safehouses and interiors.
