This GTA 6 Grassrivers map covers Leonida’s wild wetlands, the stretch of mangroves and swamp west of Vice City. Rockstar has not released an official map, so the pins are placed by region and marked as approximate. Each one opens an official screenshot. Positions will be updated from launch day.

Where is Grassrivers on the GTA 6 map?

Grassrivers spreads across the south of the peninsula, west of Vice City. One official screenshot shows a seaplane dock in the mangroves with the Vice City skyline on the horizon, which shows how close the wetlands come to the city. The map below is centered on the region.

What Rockstar says about Grassrivers

In Rockstar’s words, Grassrivers is “the untamable jewel of Leonida’s crown”. Alligators are its famous residents, but the mangroves hide worse predators and stranger things.

The wetlands were a big part of the August Extended Look, with airboat footage, and Game Informer’s cover story listed airboating among the activities. The same report counted more than 170 animal species across Leonida, with over 60 kinds of birds and over 30 land mammals, and confirmed animal tracking and rare animals.

Characters and story

No official character is tied to Grassrivers yet. The official screenshots show gator hunters, an alligator hanging in a wooden shack and a police chase through the swamp, which suggests the region will host both side activities and story action.

What is still unknown about Grassrivers

  • Whether hunting is a full activity. A screenshot of Jason with a rifle near deer suggests it, but Rockstar has not detailed it.
  • The size of the wetlands compared with the rest of the map.
  • Named towns inside Grassrivers.
