GTA Online UFO Sightseeing Stage 2 is the second part of Omega’s Halloween UFO event. It lasts four real-life days, and unlike the first stage it shows several UFOs in the skies of Los Santos and Blaine County at the same time. Each UFO photograph you send to Omega still pays $15,000 and 1,000 RP.

How GTA Online UFO Sightseeing Stage 2 works
Stage 2 follows the twelve days of the first stage. The locations and number of UFOs change daily, and you can photograph UFOs every in-game day. Get too close and thunder with a lightning bolt lights up the sky as the UFO disappears. In a vehicle, the engine cuts out for a moment and the radio fills with static, sometimes jumping between stations.
Before Stage 3 starts, the first twelve UFO locations, except UFO 4, 7 and 9, will all appear at least twice. That gives you a chance to catch up on missed pictures. After Stage 2 comes the final part, Stage 3, where abductions replace the disappearing act.
What you are photographing
The UFOs are a military drone codenamed Project Skylark. It was first spotted in Paleto Bay during the October 2021 Part 2 bonus week, when the Los Santos Meteor reported strange lights that civilians took for a spaceship. In 2023, during the LSA Operations mission Surgical Strike, Los Santos Angels leader Charlie Reed finds proof that the so-called UFOs are drones tested by Merryweather.
