How the Up-n-Atomizer works
The shot travels 95 meters at 684 kph, then explodes after half a second or when it hits something. The weapon has no ammo: it recharges its shot after two seconds, like the Stun Gun. The splash radius is 2.5 meters, and the lock-on range is 20 meters, which suits close combat.
- Damage: weaker than other explosives such as the Railgun. A direct hit launches a target, and it takes three shots to kill a Rank 100 player.
- Against NPCs: a headshot kills instantly, and near misses stun NPCs within 12 meters but have no effect on players.
- Against vehicles: it sends them flying with minimal damage, which helps with stuck vehicles. You cannot fire it from inside a vehicle.
- Movement trick: shooting the ground or a target too close sends you into the air, useful for reaching low rooftops.
- Fences: it can knock down chain-link fences, including some that vehicles cannot.
Skilled players use it to knock riders off the Oppressor Mk II, which usually kills them through the fall without destroying the bike, avoiding a Bad Sport penalty.
