How to unlock the Perico Pistol
You can only claim the pistol during the heist finale, from the desk in Juan Strickler’s office.
- Reach the finale of the Cayo Perico Heist and enter Strickler’s private office.
- Find the key for the desk drawer. It is carried by a sleeping Cayo Perico guard.
- Open the drawer to take the Perico Pistol.
After it is unlocked, Ammu-Nation lists the pistol, but the only thing you can buy is ammo: two rounds cost five dollars.
Perico Pistol performance
The Perico Pistol handles like the Marksman Pistol. It fires a single, very powerful round and must reload after every shot, and it lacks accuracy at long range. Its lock-on range is 45 meters, against 55 meters for most handguns. Like the Marksman Pistol, it shatters armored vehicle glass faster, in five shots instead of 16. Since the Money Fronts update, it counts as a drive-by weapon.
Short aside: the barrel is engraved with the German words MIT OFFENEN ARMEN, meaning With Open Arms.
Combat Shotgun in GTA Online
The Combat Shotgun returned to GTA Online with The Cayo Perico Heist update. It is a Vom Feuer semi-automatic shotgun styled after the Franchi SPAS-12, with a stock that is always extended. It costs $295,000 normally, or $241,000 through the Gun Van.
