GTA Online Fire It Up is the second Short Trip, added with The Contract update. Two players take over Franklin Clinton and Lamar Davis, storm the Vagos’ weed storage sites in Blaine County and burn the plants as payback for the raid on Lamar’s stash. Fire It Up walkthrough
Back in the studio smoking room, Lamar tells Franklin that returning for a second time was a choice, not a mistake. He then asks for help wrecking the Vagos’ weed warehouses. Franklin suggests leaving it to the police, since LD Organics is a legal business that was robbed, but Lamar shuts that down.
- Race to the first warehouse: Franklin rides his Bagger and Lamar drives his Emperor, now upgraded by Benny’s Original Motor Works. A different cutscene plays depending on who wins.
- Clear the first warehouse in western Sandy Shores. You can take the Vagos down stealthily or go in loud and let them shoot back.
- Pick up the Fertilizer Cans, pour them over the weed and set it on fire, then walk out.
- Fight your way to the second warehouse on Union Road near Chianski Passage. The Vagos chase you with lowrider Manana Customs, Faction Customs, a Buccaneer Custom, Sanchez bikes and a Buzzard Attack Chopper, and set up roadblocks with a Manana Custom, a Peyote Custom and a Pounder Custom. If you went in loud, the Technical’s mounted .50 calibre gun helps.
- Burn the stash inside, including the one stored away from the others.
- Take the Vagos’ Youga Classic, which is still loaded with supplies Lamar can use, and drive to Franklin’s house while more Vagos attack in Baller STs and Faction Customs.
Stealth or loud approach
If you stay unseen, the Vagos only realise they are under attack once the first warehouse is on fire, and two gangsters guarding a nearby Technical Custom open fire. If you went in aggressively, extra Vagos arrive in that Technical instead. Either way you can use the gun mounted on it while being chased.
How to replay Fire It Up and unlock Hard
To replay a Short Trip, the host enters Record A Studios, steps on the green Corona outside the smoking room and smokes the Special Strain. You play with a fixed weapon load-out rather than your own weapons and armor, but your snacks still work through the Interaction Menu. Hard mode unlocks after you finish the mission with no failure and is switched on from the Interaction Menu in the smoking room; restarting the game sets it back to Normal.
