GTA Online Treasure Chests are a daily Cayo Perico collectible: two chests appear each real-life day, one on land and one in the water, and each pays $25,000 and 1,000 RP. They arrived on December 31, 2020, as part of the continuation of The Cayo Perico Heist update.

How the daily Treasure Chests work
When you scope the Cayo Perico heist, chests become available around the island. Two spawn at random each day, and the chests emit a sound that helps you find them. Once you have collected both, the next ones appear the following day.

Treasure Chests versus other treasure hunts
