How to get the Canis Freecrawler
You buy the Freecrawler from Legendary Motorsport for $597,000. It went on sale on September 4th, 2018, and Freecrawler Week ran until September 10th, 2018. That week also added the Trading Places (Remix) mode, covered in Trading Places Remix Adversary, and paid double GTA$ and RP in it and in Business Battles, plus double GTA$ from Nightclub popularity.
Players who logged in during the event received $250,000, then $150,000 for every following day, along with the Paradise T-Shirt, the Blue Tartan Livery for the Oppressor Mk II and the Blue and Green Camo Livery for the Pegassi Oppressor. Discounts included 30% off the Dinka Jester Classic, the Mammoth Patriot Stretch and the MTL Pounder Custom.
Freecrawler design and performance
The Freecrawler looks like a Rezvani Tank, itself a rugged take on the Jeep Wrangler, with tail lights that seem inspired by the Hummer HX. It is a short, tall SUV with a large black front bumper, narrow headlights and a chrome-trimmed mesh grille. Both rear compartment doors open at once from the Interaction Menu.
Compared with other off-roaders, the Freecrawler has average top speed and acceleration. It is not as quick as the Riata or the Kamacho, but it handles well, has great torque and crosses uneven ground easily without tipping over. Like the Riata, it uses a twin-cam Inline-4 engine, and the engine sound is the same as the Nightshark.
