Intelligence walkthrough
- Report to the IAA Headquarters. A cutscene swears you in as an IAA field agent, then ULP sends you to San Andreas Avenue.
- Enter the apartment. It belongs to Mason Duggan, the younger brother of Thornton, and ULP suspects the Duggan Crime Family of a conspiracy behind the gas prices.
- Find Mason’s laptop and hack it: open BruteForce.exe and select the eight highlighted letters. A map with two red markers appears briefly.
- Leave the apartment. The FIB is selling four pieces of hardware to the Duggans, with two at the FIB headquarters and two at a seized contraband depot in Cypress Flats. You can do them in either order.
- Deliver the hardware to the drop-off at Los Santos International Airport.
FIB headquarters approach
Maintenance outfits let you walk in without raising suspicion, but the FIB attacks if it sees you holding a weapon or outside the construction area. You can pick up the outfit at the Alta Construction Site, where two Burrito vans have their rear doors open. Keep your weapons holstered, take the elevator to the target floor and find a tablet and a small data storage device in a heavily guarded room. Suppressed weapons and silent melee takedowns work if no other guard can see you.
FIB depot approach
At the depot ULP asks you to deal with the security system by finding and destroying the fuse boxes on the exterior of the building before you go in.
