On Course is the opening mission of The Contract: Dr. Dre in GTA Online. You and Franklin Clinton meet Dr. Dre at the Los Santos Golf Club, then chase two golfers in Caddies to prove yourselves, and Dre hands his business to F. Clinton and Partner. The Contract as a whole pays the leader $900,000, and this mission is the one-time entry point.

How The Contract: On Course begins
Once you have completed a Security Contract, the VIP Contract opens on the Agency computer and Franklin tells you to come to the Los Santos Golf Club to meet a possible new client. That client is Dr. Dre, who is there with DJ Pooh and Jimmy Iovine. While Franklin introduces everyone, two golfers named Eugene and Raymond ask to play through because the group is holding them up. Dre refuses, they threaten him with a ban from the club, and Dre tells you and Franklin to deal with them if you want him as a client.
On Course step by step
- Meet Franklin at the golf club and speak with Dr. Dre, DJ Pooh and Jimmy Iovine.
- Jump into a Caddy with Franklin and chase the two golfers.
- Ram both of them until their engines are too damaged to continue. Raymond is dealt with first.
- Once Eugene’s Caddy is badly damaged, follow him until he stops on the boardwalk of Del Perro Pier.
- Finish with Eugene on foot until Franklin says that is enough, then wait while Franklin calls Dre.
- Dre is satisfied and gives the business to F. Clinton and Partner.
What happens after On Course
On Course is a one-time prerequisite for the Dr. Dre contract. It opens the VIP Contract on the Agency computer, where you start the one-time setup mission Setup: Data Recovery. After that, three Data Leak strands become available, and you can finish them in any order: Nightlife Leak, High Society Leak and South Central Leak. Each strand has two Free Mode setups and one finale. When all three are done, the last two missions, Studio Time and Don’t Mess With Dre, open from Franklin’s office.
