How to unlock the Technical Aqua
Coast Guard Duty is the sixth job in the series and needs 24 vehicles. Special Vehicle Work missions are SecuroServ jobs for two to four players, unlocked at Rank 1 once you have completed enough Vehicle Cargo missions. To start it, use the SecuroServ computer, select Special Vehicle Work and launch the mission from there. Once finished, the Technical Aqua is available at the trade price, and the truck is kept in your Underground Garage.
Technical Aqua on land and water
It is an amphibious variant of the Technical, with two oil drum floats on the bed and a motorized boat engine at the rear that steers with the car. On land it is nimble with good off-road traction, but the extra mass makes it slower than the regular versions, with better grip and stability. In water it works, but speed drops and turning and reversing are awkward, especially in stormy conditions. It uses the same V8 and 5-speed gearbox as the Technical.
Turret and weak points
The turret is a .50 caliber machine gun with a base damage of 200, about 333 rounds per minute and a range of 500 meters. It rotates a full 360 degrees and elevates between -35 and 45 degrees, which suits it against helicopters and chasing cars. The trade-off is that the gunner is almost fully exposed and cannot leave the turret, and the front occupants can be shot through the windscreen. The front passengers can still use drive-by weapons.
