The GTA Online Lowriders Missions are eight contact missions for Lamar Davis that came with the Lowriders update, released October 20, 2015. They form a loose storyline and are offered in a set order, although you can still join them out of sequence through invites from other players. All Lowriders missions in order
- Lowriders – Mission 1 – Community Outreach: each team takes a lowrider and tries to start a war between the Vagos and the Ballas.
- Lowriders – Mission 2 – Slow and Low: get lowriders across the city to their buyers without being spotted by the cops.
- Lowriders – Mission 3 – It’s a G Thing: rescue Gerald from police custody before he is airlifted out of state.
- Lowriders – Mission 4 – Funeral Party: shoot up a Vagos funeral and steal the cocaine hidden in the Hearses.
- Lowriders – Mission 5 – Lowrider Envy: sneak into a lowrider meet, destroy one vehicle and steal another.
- Lowriders – Mission 6 – Point and Shoot: photograph lowriders as they arrive at a meet, then steal the two that Lamar picks.
- Lowriders – Mission 7 – Desperate Times Call For…: load into a Moonbeam Custom and eliminate targets around Los Santos and Chumash.
- Lowriders – Mission 8 – Peace Offerings: steal two Buccaneers, take them back to Benny’s and defend the area from a Vagos attack.
Lowrider Envy walkthrough
Lowrider Envy is a two-player mission in La Mesa, East Los Santos, unlocked by Funeral Party and unlocking Point and Shoot. It pays 15 JP, with cash and RP varying by difficulty and time spent. One of you snipes from overwatch while the other works on the ground, and you must clear a Ballas lot with suppressed weapons without alerting the others. Then the ground player destroys a Ballas lowrider, which calls in more Ballas, and you steal a customized Chino. Take it to the lockup garage in Downtown Vinewood, across from the Vinewood Plaza Hotel. The mission fails if you run out of lives, your cover is blown or the Chino is destroyed.
Lowriders update extras
Eight new vehicles were added for GTA Online, including the Albany Buccaneer Custom, Vapid Chino Custom, Willard Faction and Declasse Moonbeam. We also cover the Sabre Turbo, Vapid Minivan and Declasse Tornado from the same update. The update also brought the Machine Pistol and Machete, three Adversary Modes (Keep the Pace, Offense Defense and Relay), over 170 clothing items and 17 tattoos.
Career Progress itself is a feature of the Expanded and Enhanced Editions that debuted with the San Andreas Mercenaries update on June 13, 2023. It splits challenges into four tiers per category, and higher tiers give better rewards such as clothing, vehicles, cash and RP.
