The GTA Online Halloween events are a yearly run of limited-time modes, random events and collectibles that changes each week in October. The Halloween Surprise started as a content update on October 29, 2015 and became an annual tradition. UFO Sightseeing

Slashers, random events and combat
The Clone Slasher hunts you in the night, and the Cerberus random event is a chase on the road. For undead waves, see the Ludendorff Cemetery Survival above.
Weekly Challenges and bonuses
In 2025, players who finish the first three weekly challenges of October receive the Vinewood Undead Collection: the Slasher Clown Outfit, the Please Stop Me Mask, the Vinewood Zombie Tee and the all-over Skulls livery for the Mammoth Avenger. Each challenge also pays double the usual GTA$ and unlocks a Halloween mask.
- October 2-8: survive 2 waves in a Survival without dying
- October 9-15: complete 3 Taxi Fares
- October 16-22: win 1 Adversary Mode
- October 23-29: survive 4 waves in a Survival without dying
- October 30 – November 5: win 1 Adversary Mode
During the first week, Cayo Perico Survival, Bunker Sell Missions and Halloween Community Series paid 2x GTA$ and RP.
History of the Halloween Surprise
The 2015 update added the Albany Lurcher, the Albany Fränken Stange, the Flashlight, monster-themed masks and face paints and the Slasher Adversary Mode, all only until November 16, 2015. The 2016 version brought the LCC Sanctus and the Lost Vs Damned mode. In 2017 the Halloween Specials ran from October 27 to November 6 with the Grotti Vigilante and the Condemned mode.
